Director Position Available – Join the BPSA Board!

We would like to inform our members that a vacancy has opened on the Bayview on Parry Sound Association (BPSA) Board of Directors following a recent resignation. In accordance with our bylaws and the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (ONCA), an election to fill this position will take place during our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, August 9, 2025. If you are a member in good standing and are interested in getting involved in the leadership and future direction of the BPSA, we encourage you to submit a letter of interest. Your letter should include a brief background, any relevant experience, and why you wish to join the Board.

Please be advised that due to recent heavy rainfall, many of our Bayview on Parry Sound Association (BPSA) properties have experienced significant washouts and large holes. If you plan to visit any of the six BPSA properties, we urge you to proceed with caution for your safety. Restoration will take time, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work diligently to repair and restore all affected areas. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please be advised that a temporary safety fence has been installed across the Deep Bay shoreline beach area. This precautionary measure has been taken to prevent any contact with exposed water pumping lines currently visible in the area. These lines supply lake water to several cottages and will remain exposed until a permanent solution is implemented. The barrier will remain in place until the issue is safely resolved. We kindly ask all members and guests to respect this barrier and avoid entering the restricted area for everyone’s safety. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Dock Numbering

Please ensure your dock has visible numbers attached to the front, on both the left and right sides (land-facing). This helps with identification and keeps us in compliance with our agreement with Carling Township.

 

Annual Maintenance

Docks should be checked each year for safety. If your dock is broken or unsafe, it will need to be repaired to meet safety standards and township requirements.
